The Catholic Mothers Apostolate
The Catholic Mothers Apostolate was launched in 2015 and aims to create a sisterhood for women. The Apostolate helps to strengthen women in their vocation as wife and mother and to remind them of the beauty of their state of life. Since then over 5,000 Catholic mothers have joined the forum and the work of Catholic Mothers UK has expanded in ways that could never be imagined!
Every Friday a group is run within the centre as a safe space for mothers and children to grow in friendship, community and faith together.
What The Apostolate Offers

Growing in faith together

Our groups are primarily a place for mothers to grow in their faith and friendship together. The groups often centre around a book study of some kind with time for informal discussion among friends about relevant faith topics, guided by discussion questions. Here, people can share as much or as little as they want.
Children Welcome
It is totally normal for us to have our children with us at our meetings and we always create a space for them where they can play together. This can mean that some of our sessions are more productive than others but that is the reality and beauty of motherhood! Whatever happens we always receive something!

Hospitality is key
Food and drinks in a comfortable space are key to people feeling welcome! So our groups always include treats for both the mums and children. Depending on the time of day that the group meets, we share breakfast or lunch, usually provided by the mothers as contributions.
Our Shop
We also have a Catholic Mothers Shop, which will be opening soon at the Centre!
We have a little something for everyone, from religious items to children's' toys, and a great place to buy beautiful good quality gifts. Take a look at
